Yair Lapid at the Rabbinical Assembly Convention

Israel's rising star in the political scene, Yair Lapid, visited
Atlanta for the Rabbinical Assembly Convention.
You can watch his speech in this video.
Yes, it is long, but it is also wonderful!
Enjoy!

  1. Just as I was thinking that he seemed like a great candidate for PM, he expressed - through his comment about communism (which seems to be what he thinks any degree of socialism within a Democracy is) - his utter lack of concern for those in need, and an implied belief that there should be no social safety net, no health care for all, that workers should have no real voice/effect in the workplace via unions, and that the growing disparity between the rich and poor and the rising cost of living is a GOOD thing! This kind of cruel, harsh attitude is contrary to everything the Torah and the prophets said that a Jewish society should be!
